SOCIAL PEDAGOGY

Courses for the third year regular students

Celem zajęć jest umożliwienie studentom przedyskutowania i uzupełnienia wiedzy zdobywanej na wykładach oraz poznanie wybranych tekstów z zakresu pedagogiki społecznej.
The course series is divided into three sections.
 The first section deals with the foundations of social pedagogy in Poland and in the world, along with the presentation of socio-cultural, economic and political background reflecting formation of social pedagogy. The course syllabus includes selected works by Radlińska, Kamiński, Korczak and others.
The following section is devoted to basic terms of social pedagogy, such as background, up-bringing background, human resources, transformation, support, small homesteads, human and social capital, etc.
The third section presents the students with a cross section of contemporary socio- educational issues in the perspective of processes of globalization and marginalization of certain social groups.
