PROGRAM OF KORCZAK

The aim of the course is to present the students with the issue of respecting children rights in Poland and other selected countries.
 The course syllabus includes the analysis of children rights defined in Polish and international documents (e.g. Convention on the Rights of the Child, Council of Europe and UN documents). Another point to be discussed is children's participation in military conflicts as a symptom of children rights violation. Protection of children rights will be presented on the example of Korczak's pedagogy.
